A view from an illustrated book by Peter Schenk Hecatompolis sive Totius orbis Terrarum. The panorama of the city was based on the view from Civitates Orbis Terrarum (Cities of the World) by Georg Braun and Franz Hogenberg and probably on a copperplate by Mateusz Merian.
