This view was made on the basis of a drawing by Fryderyk Bernard Werner. Like in the original drawing based on the copperplate from Civitates Orbis Terrarum (Cities of the World) Georg Braun and Franz Hogenberg, the Baroque buildings of the city were marked. The view is in many details fictional, with its schematic presentation of architecture.
